Our mission is offering high-quality, established, and tenured educators and educational tools to help students learn with authenticity, sincerity, and honesty. We also offer safe, convenient learning environments by allowing students to learn from anywhere at their own pace.

Founder's Message

I'm so glad you're here! If I said I ever expected this to be a journey I'd take, that wouldn't be an honest statement. The idea of homeschooling children has always appealed to me because of the, sometimes, limited scope of public education and the unnecessary expenses of private education. Our educators are a gift to us, but oftentimes their gifts and passion for educating our children is stifled by "the system". I had no intention of having a homeschool program, but COVID had another plan.

This journey has been a wild ride, but I'm so grateful for the opportunity to grow and help you and your children grown in the most effective way possible. Education is the foundation of any of our successes, and I look forward to opportunity to serve families like yours to create the next generation of extraordinary leaders, thinkers, and doers!

How It Works

Subjects

We focus on the core education subjects - mathematics, language arts, science, and social studies - as well as electives and other socio-economic subjects.

Tutoring Options

Virtual 1:1 Lessons

We work with our students, parents, and staff to coordinate tutoring and additional learning opportunities. LHS offers online/virtual sessions through video-conferencing software such as Zoom.

Rate: variable per hour

Virtual Group Sessions

Some classes and additional learning opportunities are conducted in a group setting - such as Physical Education, Home Economics, etc. These sessions will also be coordinated by LHS.

STAFF DIRECTORY

Our staff members are highly-qualified educators. Each member of our staff was very carefully selected and has a strong passion for education. Please be considerate of our team's time - especially during designated away time per the school calendar. We pride ourselves on being fierce advocates for not only our staff but all hard-working educators. We do not, cannot, and will not tolerate any disrespect towards them from students, parents, or anyone. Simply put - BE RESPECTFUL!
